Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Tender Engineer to assist the Manager in preparing, reviewing and managing tender documents, contracts and related documentation for M&E projects. You will prepare preliminary budgets and tender pricing, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in M&E subcontracting.
• Familiarity with tender preparation and cost estimation.

• Strong communication and coordination across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in preparing, reviewing and managing tender documents, contracts and related documentation.
• Prepare preliminary budgets, cost estimates and tender pricing based on project requirements and instructions.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations, review product and service proposals, and clarify technical specifications.
• Identify and propose solutions to technical issues arising during the tendering process, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate documentation and information flow.
• Review and verify bills of quantities (BOQ), supplier and subcontractor quotations, and market rates for materials and labour on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Attend site visits and tender briefings to assess project requirements and gather relevant information for tender preparation.
• Prepare responses to tender clarifications and support tender interviews and presentations.
• Coordinate follow-ups on quotations, bills and quantities with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Upon successful tender award, ensure a proper handover of tender documents, cost estimates and relevant information to the project team.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in preparing and reviewing tender documentation.
