Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an organised administrative professional to support Judicial Officers handling matters before the Court of Appeal (CA) and the Appellate Division of the High Court (AD) in Singapore. You will manage case files, prepare summaries, and facilitate correspondence with legal practitioners and stakeholders.

The role requires meticulous data management, analytical thinking, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced registry environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree with 2–3 years of relevant working experience; legal knowledge or training is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Highly organised, meticulous, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and case management support to Judicial Officers handling matters before the Court of Appeal (CA) and the Appellate Division of the High Court (AD).
  • Manage and process cases filed with the CA and AD by reviewing, monitoring, and administering court documents in compliance with relevant legislation, procedures, and policies.
  • Prepare case summaries, reports, notices, and correspondence, while coordinating with legal practitioners, self-represented litigants, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient case progression.
  • Maintain accurate case records, statistics, and databases, and prepare analytical reports on caseloads and case disposal trends.
  • Support the development, implementation, and enhancement of operational processes, systems, and registry functions.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Registry and undertake additional duties as assigned.
