Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited is seeking an Accounts Payable professional in Singapore. You will support the Finance & Accounts team, handling supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an accounting diploma and 1–2 years of experience, with strong MS Office skills and meticulous attention to detail. You will collaborate with teammates and handle confidential information with integrity.

Qualificações

• Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting.
• 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and meticulous with numbers.

Responsabilidades

• Process supplier invoices and ensure payments align with LOA.
• Ensure input tax claims have valid tax invoices per GST Act.
• Update invoices in the accounting system.
• Download suppliers for payments and issue payments with documents.
• Prepare journal entries for monthly closing.
• Prepare supplier reconciliations and perform bank reconciliation.
• Assist in internal audit and other ad-hoc duties.

The Opportunity

As part of the Finance & Accounts team, you will report to the Senior Manager – Finance & Treasury Operations. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

Accounts Payable

• process supplier invoices, ensure payment is in accordance to LOA
• ensure input tax claimed are supported with valid tax invoices and in accordance to GST Act
• update invoices to accounting system
• Download suppliers for payments
• Issue payment with supporting invoices & documents
• Prepare journal entries for monthly closing.
• Prepare suppliers reconciliation
• Perform bank reconciliation

Others

• Assist in internal audit
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting, preferably 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and meticulous with numbers and details oriented
• Great teammate with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Enjoys learning and working in a high-energy and performance driven environment
• Enthusiastic, focused and committed to do your best
• Ability to handle ambiguity and confidentiality
• Understands and strikes a balance between being an individual and a team member
