Job Description

Our client is the leading manufacturer and distributor of components for Factory Automation, Press Die and Plastic Mold, Electrical & Wiring Parts, Tools and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) items. They are a 1 Stop Solution provider, carrying over 7 million products and more than 2,000 brands to meet customers’ manufacturing needs. They deliver to countries including Singapore, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, as well as customers from the Middle East region.

  • Responsible for driving sales performance and accountable for meeting revenue, sales and profits targets set by the company
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure repeat business
  • Handle enquiries from customers through phone calls, emails and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow up with new and existing customers through the entire sales cycle from pre-sales (quotations, orders and deliveries, etc) to post sales and identify any potential sales opportunities
  • Proactively reach out to new and existing customers via phone calls and emails to provide support, identify needs and create sales opportunities
  • Qualified leads provided by the Marketing Team and convert them into sales opportunities
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure cohesive execution of sales strategies and initiatives to achieve individual, team and departmental KPIs
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information to aid management in their decision making
  • Assist in filling in the questionnaire, surveys and accreditation forms required by customers
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Business Administration / Marketing and other relevant fields
  • At least 1-2 yrs of sales experience
  • Results driven and self-motivated for new challenges
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong customer orientation
  • Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
  • Experience in standard components in Mechanical, Electrical and Cutting tools will be advantageous
