Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a production operator to analyze machines utilization, improve quality output, and sustain safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with equipment engineers to ensure equipment availability meets stringent product requirements and adopt AI-enabled tools to enhance daily performance. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, safety, and adherence to organizational standards, with a focus on delivering high-quality memory

Qualifications

• Nitec or Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze machines utilization, improve and ensure quality output.
• Maintain overall production efficiencies of assigned workstations.
• Support a safe work environment by following safety procedures and reporting hazards.
• Collaborate with Equipment engineers to maintain equipment availability to meet product requirements.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Identify, test, and share AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Responsibilities

As part of the manufacturing team, you will be -

• Responsible for analyzing machines utilization, improving and ensuring quality output.
• Maintain overall production efficiencies of assigned workstations
• Support a safe work environment by following safety procedures and promptly reporting identified hazards.
• Work alongside Equipment engineers to strengthen and maintain equipment availability to meet stringent product requirements.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Requirements

• A relevant Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering OR equivalent working experience
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and looking for growth
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Comfortable with doing 12-hr shift (including night shift).
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsiblyand effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
