Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. is seeking a diligent Technician / Technical Lead to support optical production in Singapore. You will perform lapping, polishing, washing, and in-process checks to ensure quality and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• O-Level or diploma in engineering required.
• Experience in polishing, lapping or optics manufacturing advantageous.
• Able to follow SOPs and work instructions; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform lapping, polishing, washing, and inspection of optical components according to SOP and quality requirements.
• Operate Flatwork equipment, conduct basic troubleshooting, and ensure process compliance.
• Carry out in-process quality checks and maintain production records.
• Conduct in-process inspection and measurements to ensure product quality requirements are met.
• Ensure proper handling of optics, housekeeping, and compliance with EHS standards.
• Support productivity, yield improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and housekeeping activities.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Support continuous improvement, yield enhancement, and productivity initiatives.

Requirements.

• O-Level, NITEC / Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering Field.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience in polishing, lapping,or optics manufacturing is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection and measurement tools.
• Able to follow SOPs and work instructions. awareness and attention to detail.
• Team player with good safety awareness.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to work in rotating shift pattern or 12 hour shift.
• Proficiency in general Microsoft application including MS word and Excel.
