Job summary

FUJI TECHNICAL CENTRE (S'PORE) PTE LTD is seeking an electrical/mechatronics engineer to commission, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade VSD/Inverters, converters and PLC systems. You will support crane systems at container terminals across the region with on-site technical assistance locally and overseas.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering, solid circuit and control-system knowledge, and willingness to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of electrical circuits, control systems and reading schematics.
• Hands-on experience with VSD/Inverters, Converters or PLCs.

About the role

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)
• Good understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and reading schematics
• Hands-on experience with VSD/Inverters, Converters or PLCs
• Comfortable with test and measurement instruments (incl. hi-memory recorder, megger insulation testers and etc.)
• 1–3 years of field service or maintenance experience preferred
• Willingness to travel and deploy locally/overseas at short notice
• Good communication skills and a team player with the right attitude
• Valid driving licence
