HRLinked Asia Search & Consultancy Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Service Technician to deliver reliable preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment and systems across client sites.

You will diagnose faults, install and repair equipment, and keep precise service records while ensuring safety and quality standards. Travel to various locations will be required, with a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven technical qualification or certification in a related trade or technical field (electrical, mechanical, electronics)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime
• Diagnose technical faults and troubleshoot using diagnostic tools and procedures
• Install, repair, and service equipment per manufacturer specs and company standards
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergencies
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, time spent, and work completed
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues and solutions
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to prioritise workload and meet SLAs

Service Technician (Global European Engineering MNC)

What you'll be doing

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime
• Diagnosing technical faults and troubleshooting issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and procedures
• Installing, repairing, and servicing equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Responding promptly to service calls and emergency requests from customers and internal stakeholders
• Maintaining detailed records of all service activities, including parts used, time spent, and work completed
• Communicating effectively with customers to explain technical issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices whilst carrying out all technical work
• Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and efficiency
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to prioritise workload and meet service level agreements

What we’re looking for

• A relevant technical qualification or certification in a related trade or technical field (such as electrical, mechanical, or electronics)
• Proven experience working as a technician or in a similar hands‑on technical role, ideally in the trades and services sector
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment relevant to the industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
• A commitment to health and safety standards and adherence to workplace regulations
• Physical ability to perform the demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights where applicable
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional approach to customer service
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to different locations for service calls
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems or similar software is advantageous
