Job summary

You will specialize in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of compressor systems, control panels, and related equipment. Qualifications

• Background in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial electrical or field service experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical control cubicles, distribution boards, inverter drives, and industrial electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Support overhaul and refurbishment activities for compressors and associated equipment to extend asset life.
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure reliability.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical panels, DB, MCCs, control cubicles, and VFDs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct electrical inspections and functional testing to verify compliance with standards.
• Perform wiring, modifications, and upgrades to electrical control systems to enhance performance.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to guide maintenance tasks.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of faults.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.

Job Summary

This role will support repair, overhaul, and refurbishment activities for compressor and rotating equipment components. The selected incumbent will specialize in electrical troubleshooting, repair, testing, and commissioning of compressor systems, control panels, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support overhaul and refurbishment activities for industrial compressors and associated equipment to extend asset life
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and commissioning of compressor electrical systems and controls to ensure operational reliability
• Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical panels, distribution boards (DB), motor control centers (MCCs), control cubicles, and inverter drives to minimize downtime
• Conduct electrical inspections and functional testing of equipment to verify compliance with technical standards
• Perform wiring, modifications, and upgrades to electrical control systems to enhance system performance
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to guide maintenance and repair tasks
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of electrical faults
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and local regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in compressor systems, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery to support specialized maintenance tasks
• Familiarity with PLC controls and industrial automation systems to assist in system integration and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve complex electrical issues
