HOYA Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support QC operations. You will work closely with engineers, performing equipment checks, setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance, while conducting tests, inspections, and reporting to aid quality and throughput.

We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to support our quality control operations. You will work closely with engineers, assisting them in daily tasks and equipment-related activities. This role requires hands‑on involvement in performing quality control equipment checks, machine setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance, as well as conducting tests, inspections, managing inventory, preparing reports, and supporting overall quality and operational efficiency.
Perform daily checks and routine maintenance on quality control equipment to ensure stable operation, including setting up machine recipes when required
Assist engineers with troubleshooting and support measurement requests
Conduct incoming material inspections, process system releases, and carry out regular cleanroom air particle count measurements
Manage quality control spare parts inventory while preparing reports and analyzing trends
NITEC / Diploma in Engineering, or a related field, OR
1 – 2 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, or prior experience in inspection, or related roles, is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Able to work independently with initiative and strong accountability
Strong team player with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
Willing to work in 12-hour rotating shift (4 working day / 3 rest day / 3 working day / 4 rest day), 12-hour fixed shift will be preferred
Able to work in a cleanroom environment and perform overtime as and when necessary
