Job summary

HOYA Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Engineer in our Analysis team to perform Root Cause Analysis and data-driven improvements across manufacturing processes. You will identify gaps using data analysis and work with cross-functional teams to reduce defects and boost yield.

Responsibilities include developing software tools (Power BI, ACE, Macro) to enhance efficiency, analyzing Yield and EUV Parametric data, and supporting new technology introductions.

Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis and statistical tools to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• 2-3 years of related work experience in analysis or product ownership.
• Proficiency with Power BI and Klarity Ace for data-driven insights.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

• Handle ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Get to Know the Role

As an Engineer in our Analysis team, you will need to be skilled in carrying out the necessary processes, such as Root Cause Analysis, to improve work efficiency and reduce the possibility of product defects. You will be required to carry out data analysis to identify gaps and possible areas of improvement, hence you will need to be detail-oriented and adept at problem solving.

• Perform Root Cause Analysis on necessary processes
• Develop software (e.g., Power BI/ACE/Macro) to improve work efficiency
• Analysing Yield / EUV Parametric data
• Collaborating with Process Engineering team to improve process stability and capability to reduce defects
• Provide yield improvements and aid in bringing up new technologies
• Any ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor/manager

Skills and Competencies Profile

• Bachelors’ degree in Engineering
• 2-3 years of related work experience in analysis or product ownership industry
• Experience with data analysis and / or statistical tools (Power BI & Klarity Ace) to identify gaps and opportunities for continual improvement
• Able to work independently with a high level of initiative, yet be a strong team player when working with various functional teams
• Creative thinker who can demonstrate excellent organisational, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Self-motivated and result-oriented with strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills
