Job summary

SHARE RESOURCES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Technician (Mechanical) to support day-to-day operation and maintenance of client facilities. The role involves inspections, preventive maintenance of M&E systems, and quick repair of mechanical equipment in HVAC and related systems.

The candidate should have a diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or FM and at least 1 year of facilities experience, preferably in critical environments, with good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of facilities management or building maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with M&E maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic knowledge of building and facility M&E systems.
• Experience in critical environments is a plus.

Technician (Mechanical)

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the client's facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance programmes for building systems, M&E plants and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faulty motors in HVAC systems, air-handling units (AHUs), fan-coil units (FCUs) and other mechanical equipment.
• Support the on-site engineer in facility-related matters and prepare monthly reports for the client.
• Troubleshoot facility equipment and respond promptly to service requests raised by the client.
• Coordinate facility fit-out and construction activities arising from business expansion.
• Maintain agreed service levels and achieve the key performance indicators (KPIs) established by the client.
• Support the development and improvement of project-management processes to enhance service quality, improve client satisfaction and reduce costs and turnaround times.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety requirements and site procedures.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline would be advantageous.
• Min 1 year of experience in facilities management, building maintenance or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience in M&E maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work.
• Basic knowledge of building and facility M&E systems.
• Experience working in a critical environment, such as a data centre, cleanroom, semiconductor plant or pharmaceutical facility, would be advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
