Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Technician III to join the Production Technical Support Team in Singapore. You will handle complex technical tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

You will monitor quality, maintain production records and support cross-functional teams across the site. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics and has at least 2 years of relevant experience, with cleanroom exposure

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or related field.
• Min 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing and troubleshooting equipment.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on DSM Flex / LS1 lines.
• Troubleshoot Autoclaves and other supporting systems.
• Drive improvements in equipment availability, quality, productivity and safety.
• Support investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints.

As a Technician lll under the Production Technical Support Team, you will be handling complex technical tasks in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will manage resources, monitor quality, and maintain production records, requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on DSM Flex / LS1 lines
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on Autoclaves and other supporting systems
• To drive improvements in equipment availability, product quality, productivity and safety.
• Improve machine performance and efficiency by providing effective troubleshooting, maintenance and engineering support for the manufacturing operations.
• Support non-conformance investigations, field action assessments and customer complaints investigations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Diploma/ NITEC in Mechanical /Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or related field
• Min 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry in a maintenance/ similar role troubleshooting equipment and machines
• Experience in cleanroom preferred
• Able to perform 12hours rotating shift
