Job summary

Alcon Singapore Manufacturing Pte Ltd is seeking a Technician III to operate automated manufacturing equipment at Tuas South for contact lens production, packaging, and sterilization. The role involves working on the DSM Flex line and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

You will perform autoclave sterilization, conduct lot changes, and maintain DSM Flex lines with strict 5S and batch documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate or Nitec in engineering.
• Experience in GMP manufacturing/production environment is an advantage; training will be provided.
• Able to work 12 hours rotating shifts (day to night).

Responsibilities

• Operate DSM Flex line together with team to manufacture quality products.
• Operate Autoclave machine for the sterilization of contact lenses.
• Perform lot changes and maintenance of DSM Flex lines.
• Ensure good 5S standards, batch documentation completeness in accordance to procedures for DSM Flex lines and supporting equipment such as autoclaves.

Technician lll

you are tasked to operate automated manufacturing equipment to produce, package and sterilize contact lenses ensuring products produced are of acceptable quality level at Tuas.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Operate 1 DSM Flex line together with team to manufacture quality products.

• Operate Autoclave machine for the sterilization of contact lenses.

• Perform lot changes and maintenance of DSM Flex lines.

• Ensure good 5S standards, batch documentation completeness in accordance to procedures for DSM Flex lines and supporting equipment such as autoclaves.

What You'll Bring to Alcon

• Professional Certificate/Nitec in Engineering field

• Experience in GMP controlled manufacturing/production environment is an advantage; training will be provided

• Able to work 12 hours rotating shifts (Monthly rotation from day to night shift and vice versa)
