Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking a facilities HVAC technician to install, maintain and modify heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems across various facility applications in Singapore. You will follow drawings and general instructions, conduct system checkouts and troubleshoot malfunctions to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and modify HVAC&R equipment and systems in facility applications.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, schematics and general instructions.
• Conduct general checkouts to ensure proper system operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system malfunctions.
• Perform pipe-fitting, brazing, soldering, and sheet metal work as needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks (charging, lubrication, etc.).
• Apply skills to boilers, heat pumps, compressors, evaporators, control systems and A/C units.

Job Description

Installs, maintains and modifies heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation equipment and systems in various facility applications. Follows blueprints, drawings, schematics and general instructions to perform assignments. Conducts general checkouts to ensure proper systems operation. Modifies systems and equipment to respond to space and operational changes. Troubleshoots and repairs equipment and system malfunctions. Performs pipe-fitting, brazing, soldering, and sheet metal work incidental to the installation, repair, modification and maintenance of equipment and systems. Performs a variety of preventative maintenance tasks including system charging, filter charges, lubrication and the like. Applies skills to a wide variety of air conditioning, heating, and ventilating systems such as boilers, heat pumps, compressors, evaporators, control systems, heaters, A/C units and the like.

Job Requirements

• Engineering Diploma in Electronic/Electrical, Mechanical, Controls and Instrumentation, or other similar fields.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
