Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking a facilities HVAC technician to install, maintain and modify heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems across various facility applications in Singapore. You will follow drawings and general instructions, conduct system checkouts and troubleshoot malfunctions to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with ability to prioritize work.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Willing to work any shift on a rotating schedule.
Familiar with digital tools and dashboards is a plus.
Experience with AI-enabled ways of working is advantageous.
Prior facilities experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain and modify HVAC&R equipment and systems in facility applications.
Follow blueprints, drawings, schematics and general instructions.
Conduct general checkouts to ensure proper system operation.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system malfunctions.
Perform pipe-fitting, brazing, soldering, and sheet metal work as needed.
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks (charging, lubrication, etc.).
Apply skills to boilers, heat pumps, compressors, evaporators, control systems and A/C units.
