Job summary

StorHub Management Pte. Ltd. seeks a hands-on Technician to maintain and repair StorHub's Singapore facilities, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and smooth operations across multiple sites.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and support facility improvement projects while reporting to the Head of Procurement and Development. Travel between StorHub locations is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or facilities management.

Responsibilities

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES

The Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of StorHub's self-storage facilities across Singapore. The role ensures that facilities are safe, secure, clean, and operational at all times, while supporting a positive customer experience. Reporting to the Head of Procurement and Development, the Technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance works, coordinate with contractors, and support facility improvement projects across multiple locations.

Job Scope:

• Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair works for StorHub facilities across Singapore.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general building maintenance works.
• Troubleshoot and rectify facility-related issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular building inspections and recommend improvement works where necessary.
• Liaise with and supervise contractors, cleaners, and security personnel to ensure works are completed in accordance with company standards.
• Attend to operational and facility-related feedback and take appropriate follow-up actions.
• Coordinate maintenance works and vendor activities at assigned locations.
• Ensure facilities comply with workplace safety, security, and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repair works.
• Support renovation, upgrading, and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Travel between multiple StorHub locations to perform maintenance and operational support duties.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, facilities management, property management, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, building services, and general maintenance works.
• Able to use Microsoft Office applications and mobile devices for reporting and communication.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Able to work independently and manage tasks across multiple locations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out hands‑on maintenance work.
• Willing and able to travel regularly between StorHub facilities across Singapore.
