Job summary

Far East Hospitality Management (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Technician (Orchard Rendezvous Hotel) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned properties. The role ensures smooth operation of building Mechanical and Electrical services and that equipment is maintained per instructions.

Responsibilities include daily premises inspections, handling M&E work orders, emergency breakdowns per duty roster, and compliance with safety rules. Rotating shifts required.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Versatile and able to do carpentry works.
• Able to do rotating shift work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for the assigned properties.
• Ensure smooth running of all building Mechanical and Electrical services.
• Ensure all equipment are maintained and operated according to instruction.
• Carry out preventive maintenance of the equipment in accordance with Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
• Inspect the premises daily, perform building round checklist recording and replace defective parts.
• Attend to all M&E work orders within the stipulated time frame.
• Attend to emergency breakdown according to duty roster.
• Comply with building and fire safety rules and regulations.
• Coordinate term contract servicing/ ad-hoc repairs and endorse job done on-site.
• Record and monitor utilities consumption of the property.
• Update the stock cards of M&E parts.
• To be part of CERT team and execute the duties accordingly.
• Comply with Workplace Safety Rules and Regulations, building and fire safety rules and regulations.
