Job summary

Lotte Duty Free Singapore is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep 18 retail shops at Changi Airport and the Tampines HQ in optimal condition.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, handle electrical, A/C and plumbing faults with vendor support, oversee safety, manage outsourced contractors, and assist with LED lighting and display installations for in-store promotions.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical discipline is required.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in office and retail environment is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 18 retail shops at Changi Airport and 2 corporate offices to high standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective actions for facility equipment, electrical, HVAC and plumbing faults.
• Oversee daily safety activities, conduct risk assessments and implement controls.
• Source and manage outsourced service providers for repair/maintenance.
• Investigate breakdowns to determine causes and prevent recurrence.
• Oversee fixtures maintenance and upkeep; supervise contractors.
• Support LED lighting panels and in-store display installations.
• Submit GLOB+ slips for purchases related to maintenance.

Job description

• Maintain 18 retail shops in Changi Airport and 2 corporate offices in the best condition to maximize the customer experience by keeping high standards of maintenance, housekeeping, and security of equipment and facilities
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective action to ensure facility equipment , office and retail stores systems run smoothly and efficiently including trouble shooting for electrical fault, air conditioning fault, water pipe burst and other related facilities equipment with helping hands from contractors or external vendors
• Oversee overall daily safety activities, ensure risk assessment and control measure are implemented
• Sourcing and managing outsourced service providers to ensure all repair / maintenance work are done to our expectations
• Investigate, check and analyse reported breakdowns & faults to determine their cause for the prevention of future occurrences
• Fixtures maintenance, checks and upkeeping
• Supervise contractors to carry out maintenance works and to ensure the upkeep of the site in accordance to stipulated requirements
• Support the site measurements of LED lighting panels / POP (Point of Purchase) / ISP (In Store Promotion) / Display panels etc to prepare and co-ordinate the installations
• Submission of GLOB+ slips and approvals for purchase or services payable that is related to maintenance of the operations.
• And any other duties as and when assigned by the management

Requirements

• NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical discipline
• At least 1-2 years relevant experience within an office and retail stores environment would be advantageous
• Highly motivated and organized individual with a flexible approach to work
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work or safety
• Valid FSM certificate preferred
• Working Location: Changi Airport Terminals and Tampines HQ Office
• Working hours : 5 days work week 9-6pm with occasional overnight duties with Replacement Off in lieu
