Qualifications

• Proven work experience as Technical Support Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with system hardening, patching, vulnerability assessments and IT security best practices
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS and O365 environment
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Demonstrated technical knowledge and strong troubleshoot skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Diploma in IT or related field; additional certs in Microsoft/Cisco a plus
• Able to support and communicate with customers professionally
• Open to Singaporeans only

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, deploy and harden computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, video conferencing and scanners
• Maintain proper records of support and service work
• Build up technical know-how on problem solving via structured knowledge transfer and experience from field issues
• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
• Ensure all issues are properly logged
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
• Follow up with end-users to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
• Document technical knowledge and SOP in the form of notes and manuals
• Coordinate and execute assigned IT project activities or tasks to ensure they are completed on time and on target
• Support initiatives to improve compliance processes through automation and digitalization
• Manage inventory records of hardware, equipment, software
• Manage stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies
• Support the team lead and perform the role to the satisfaction of relevant stakeholders
