Job summary

ALPHATRON MARINE SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technical Support specialist to provide first-level assistance to customers, dealers and service teams.

The role includes troubleshooting, documenting issues, and supporting vessel visits, testing, and commissioning where required. You will maintain technical records, distribute updates, and ensure compliance with ISO standards. Qualifications

• Provide first-level technical support to customers, dealers, Service Engineers, and internal teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and system issues, escalating complex matters when required.
• Respond to technical inquiries related to products, services, maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboard vessel attendance, site visits, equipment inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Maintain and update technical records, service bulletins, manuals and work instructions.
• Distribute technical updates and manufacturer service bulletins to stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, service documentation and maintenance records.
• Ensure technical information is accurately documented and filed.
• Assist with inspection, testing, repair and maintenance of defective equipment and spare parts.
• Support the maintenance and calibration control of test equipment.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are maintained in a safe and orderly condition.
• Respond to technical inquiries from customers and dealers promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinators and Service Engineers to support service delivery.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Technical Team Leader or Technical Manager.
• Comply with company policies, manufacturer requirements and applicable regulations.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 requirements.
• Follow safe work practices and participate in safety initiatives and training.
• Report quality, technical and safety concerns promptly.
• Perform ad hoc duties and projects assigned by Management.
