Job summary

CK MARINE PTE. LTD. is seeking a motivated Service Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to install, maintain, test, and repair marine navigation, communication, and safety equipment aboard vessels and in our workshop.

The role includes occasional travel for onboard servicing, surveys, and sea trials, with responsibilities to diagnose faults, prepare service reports, and liaise with clients and equipment manufacturers to ensure compliance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair marine navigation and communication equipment on vessels and in workshop.
Conduct radio surveys and statutory equipment surveys per regulatory requirements.
Perform onboard servicing and participate in sea trials to verify equipment functionality.
Diagnose faults and implement solutions to minimize vessel downtime.
Prepare detailed service reports and test certificates for clients and regulators.
Coordinate with clients, classification societies, and equipment manufacturers.
Maintain accurate records of service jobs, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
Ensure safety standards and company procedures are followed.
Provide technical support to junior engineers and technicians.
