Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technical Support Chemist (Segregation) to supervise waste segregation activities and ensure proper handling of incoming waste streams at the Tuas facility.

You will coordinate with operations and EHS, monitor plant safety, 5S/TPM practices, and support performance improvements while exploring cost-effective treatment methods and reuse opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates welcome.
Willingness to work at Tuas site and possible shift hours.

Responsibilities

Supervise incoming waste segregation and weighbridge operations.
Ensure waste streams are checked for suitable treatment.
Coordinate communication on waste discrepancies across departments.
Liaise with operations to treat, receive, or store waste.
Monitor and improve department workflows and procedures.
Evaluate treatment methods to optimize costs and enable reuse.
Develop handling procedures for new or unknown wastes.
Daily plant inspections; enforce 5S, TPM, safety and equipment conditions.
Provide safety briefings and PPE guidance for handling waste.
Advise on technical aspects for emergency response and liaise with EHS.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
