Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Technical Chemist (Waste Treatment Operations) to join their Environmental Services team at the Tuas site.

The role is permanent, based on a Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule, with transport provided and a salary package up to SGD 3,600 plus bonus. You will supervise waste receiving, storage and treatment operations, verify waste, coordinate with departments on discrepancies, and help improve workflows while ensuring safety and

• Degree in Chemistry or related discipline required or preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; training will be provided for inexperienced candidates.
• Willing to work in a plant/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise waste receiving, unloading, segregation, storage and distribution processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Verify incoming waste and coordinate handling of discrepancies with relevant departments.
• Manage waste storage and space allocation in coordination with operations teams.
• Review and improve workflows and treatment methods to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide safety briefings and training on waste handling, PPE and risk controls.

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Technical Chemist (Waste Treatment Operations) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Chemist (Waste Treatment Operations)
• Location: Tuas (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Salary Package: Up to $3,600 + Transport Allowance* + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise waste receiving, unloading, segregation, storage and distribution processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Verify incoming waste and coordinate the handling of discrepancies with relevant departments.
• Manage waste storage and space allocation in coordination with operations teams.
• Review and improve existing workflows, treatment methods and operating procedures to enhance efficiency and optimise costs.
• Evaluate opportunities for waste recovery, reuse and improved treatment methods.
• Develop appropriate handling and treatment procedures for new or unfamiliar waste streams.
• Conduct regular inspections of plant processes, work areas, equipment and safety conditions.
• Provide safety briefings and training to staff on proper waste handling, PPE and risk controls.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure operational and safety readiness.
• Perform other duties and improvement projects as assigned.

JobRequirements:

• At least Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience is preferred. Inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
