Job summary

Mindteck Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Technical Specialist – Backend MHA/EAF to engineer and implement material handling automation on backend sites in Singapore. You will provide technical consultancy, integrate equipment, and support testing, commissioning and ramp-up to meet project standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of software/automation experience, familiarity with EAF/MHA, and knowledge of SECS/GEM SEMI standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in software development, factory automation, manufacturing IT or semiconductor manufacturing systems; equipment integration and automation project experience preferred.
• Experience with EAF, MHA, equipment integration or comparable manufacturing automation platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of TOS, ACM and SECS/GEM SEMI standards is an advantage.
• Ability to analyse application, interface and system integration issues independently.
• Experience in software integration, functional testing, deployment and production ramp-up.
• Ability to interpret specifications and deliver within agreed scope and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultancy for the local MHA / Backend team and cross-site technical topics.
• Provide troubleshooting and first-level technical support for assigned EAF components and integration issues for Backend Projects.
• Support onsite equipment integration, commissioning, functional testing and production ramp-up at the Singapore Backend site.
• Clarify technical requirements and coordinate issue resolution with designated project contacts and equipment/vendors.
• Implement approved automation solutions in line with defined specifications, architecture guidelines and standards.
• Execute assigned equipment automation activities involving TOS/ ACM and SECS/GEM SEMI standards
• Prepare technical documentation, test evidence, troubleshooting guides and scoped knowledge-transfer materials.
• Report deliverable progress, technical risks, issues and dependencies to designated project contacts.

Technical Specialist – Backend MHA (Material Handling Automation) / EAF (Equipment Automation Framework)

Objective:

Provide technical engineering and implementation support for defined Material Handling Automation (MHA) projects and related technical services within Backend production sites, primarily in Equipment Automation Framework (EAF). The backend sites-based assignment covers software development, equipment integration, testing, troubleshooting and production ramp-up against agreed deliverables and approved standards.

Requirements:

Education:

Master's/Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic/Microelectronics/Semiconductor Technology, or other related Engineering fields.

Experience:

3–5 years of relevant experience in software development, factory automation, manufacturing IT or semiconductor manufacturing systems; equipment integration and automation project experience preferred.

Technical / Functional Competencies:

• Strong software development and troubleshooting skills in industrial or manufacturing automation.
• Experience with EAF, MHA, equipment integration or comparable manufacturing automation platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of TOS, ACM and SECS/GEM SEMI standards is an advantage.
• Ability to analyse application, interface and system integration issues independently.
• Experience in software integration, functional testing, deployment and production ramp-up.
• Ability to interpret specifications and deliver within agreed scope and acceptance criteria.
• Clear technical communication with project contacts and equipment vendors.
• Ability to document work, report progress and escape technical risks promptly.
