Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to identify and develop new business opportunities for an equipment and parts distributor (MNC). The role is based in Tuas with company transport provided to pick-up points.

You will build relationships with customers and partners, present solutions, prepare quotations, and track the sales pipeline using CRM. A diploma in Engineering and at least one year of technical sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of technical sales experience in engineering, construction, industrial equipment or a related B2B environment.
• Able to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems would be advantageous.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous due to regular customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, prospecting and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and business partners.
• Support business proposals, distributorship opportunities and commercial presentations.
• Conduct customer visits, sales presentations and direct selling activities.
• Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and supporting sales documentation.
• Track sales activities, pipeline and performance using CRM systems.
• Review sales performance and prepare regular management reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and market-share developments.
• Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to support customer requirements and order fulfilment.
