Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer focused on quotations and proposals. The role involves reviewing RFQs, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates.

You will coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations, and prepare BOMs and costing calculations for tender submissions. Candidates with a Diploma or Degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or related fields are welcome, training provided for

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Willingness to learn; training provided for inexperienced candidates.
• Experience in quotation, estimation, project coordination or technical sales is advantageous.
• Ability to read engineering drawings is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office; strong numeracy and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review customer enquiries, RFQs, technical specs and drawings.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimates and commercial proposals.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors on pricing and lead times.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Operations teams.
• Prepare BOMs and costing calculations.
• Analyse project requirements and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain quotation records and supporting documentation.
• Support tender submissions and customer clarification requests.
• Follow up on quotation status and assist the sales process.

• Salary: Up to $5,000 Basic + Performance Bonus (Up to 3 Months)
