Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is recruiting for a tender/cost estimation professional in Singapore’s WEST area, walking distance to MRT.

Normal working hours are Mon–Fri with a basic salary range and variable bonus potential. The role focuses on tender analysis, cost estimation, and preparing proposals for M&E/building automation projects. You will review documents, prepare technical/commercial submissions, coordinate with sales and engineering teams, and ensure accuracy and competitiveness of

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience or exposure to tendering, costing, estimation, BOQ, M&E or project engineering would be advantageous.
• Exposure to BMS, HVAC/ACMV, building automation or smart-building solutions is an added advantage.
• Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation.
• Candidates without direct proposal experience are also welcome, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse tender documents, engineering drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions according to client requirements.
• Perform quantity take-off, cost estimation and pricing for M&E / building automation project scopes.
• Prepare BOQ, cost breakdowns, technical compliance documents and supporting tender documentation.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate them based on technical compliance, pricing and commercial terms.
• Conduct cost comparisons and support pricing strategies and commercial discussions.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Engineering, Projects, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
• Respond to tender clarifications, post-submission queries and requests for additional information.
• Check proposal content and cost calculations to ensure accuracy, competitiveness and compliance.
• Manage multiple tender submissions and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Prepare tender handover documents and coordinate with Engineering and Project teams upon contract award.
• Provide costing and commercial support during project execution when required.

Requirements:
