Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer – Quotations & Proposals on a permanent basis at our Singapore location (Robinson Road). The role covers reviewing RFQs, preparing quotations and cost estimates, and coordinating with Sales, Engineering and Purchasing teams to deliver compelling commercial proposals.

The ideal candidate may have a diploma/degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or related fields, with training available for newcomers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or industrial engineering.
• Training provided for entrants; no experience required.
• Experience in quotation, estimation, project coordination, or sales is advantageous.
• Able to read engineering drawings is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; strong numerical skills.
• Good communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer enquiries, RFQs, technical specifications and drawings.
• Prepare quotations, cost estimates and commercial proposals.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors on pricing and lead times.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Operations teams.
• Prepare BOMs and costing calculations.
• Analyse project requirements and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain quotation records and supporting documentation.
• Support tender submissions and customer clarification requests.
• Follow up on quotation status and support the sales process.

• Position: Technical Sales Engineer – Quotations & Proposals

• Location: Robinson Road

• Working Days: Monday to Friday

• Working Hours: 8.00AM to 5.00PM

• Salary: Up to $5,000 Basic + Performance Bonus (Up to 3 Months)

• Benefits: 14-24 Days Annual Leave + $2,000 Medical Benefits + WFH Flexibility (To be Discussed)
