• Must maintain safety equipment tracking and help oversee annual inspections.

About the job Technical Purchaser (Diving)

• Able to comprehend the machinery's part book (primary engine, generator, pump, gearbox).
• Capable of understanding and interpreting crew and mechanics requirements.
• Responsible for the whole procurement procedure, including issue PO & delivery arrangements, obtain quotations, and requisitions.
• Negotiate and create a friendly working relationship with the suppliers/vendors>
• Construct and maintain stock take and inventory control of materials/parts issued to vessels.
• Communicate with the operations team and crew about requisitions related matter.
• Confirm supplier/vendor invoices contrary to quotations & maintain track expenditure.
• Able to confirm received items with ordered items.
• Makes certain that supplies are delivered on schedule.
  
• Answerable for precaution of records and follow-up of all purchased items.
• Actively follow the status and reports of vessel's defects.
• Maintain the certifies safety equipment on the vessel and keep track.
• To oversee and set up the annual class/MPA inspections for vessel.
• Consult with yard while making plans to dock the vessel correctly
  
• While at the yard, watch the vessel's repair progress.
• Any ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager, the director, or the technical manager.
