Job summary

CHIU TENG CONSTRUCTION CO. PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior site/ design coordination lead to manage the technique team and oversee design deliverables for building construction projects.

You will coordinate with Consultants and Clients, resolve technical issues, review drawings, and drive design approvals with authorities to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board Singapore.
• At least 10 years of working experience in Building Construction.
• Good knowledge and experience of RC structure works.
• Familiar with Archi, M&E works.
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site technique team (BIM, C&S, M&E, Archi) to deliver timely, quality outcomes.
• Maintain design program by managing interfaces and progress, coordinating activities, resolving conflicts and issues in design packages.
• Coordinate design related matters with Consultants and Clients.
• Resolve technical problems for project team.
• Review all technical documentation and drawings of the Project works.
• Lead design approvals with Authorities (URA, BCA, LTA, PUB, etc.) in a timely manner.
• Ensure design compliance with contractual requirements.
• Distribute approved drawings and relevant documents to stakeholders.
• Identify and highlight risks or issues impacting project performance.
• Prepare and present design progress status to Management and Client as required.

Job description

• Manage the site technique team (BIM, C&S, M&E, Archi) to deliver the outcome timely and with good quality.
• Maintain design program by managing interfaces and monitoring progress, coordinating activities, resolving, or coordinating conflicts and issues in design packages.
• Co-ordinate design related matters with Consultants and Clients.
• Resolve technical problems for project team.
• Reviews all technical documentation and drawings of the Project works.
• Works closely with the appointed Consultants and construction team on designs and project deliverables to enhance site efficiency and construct ability.
• Leads on the design approval from the Authority/Agency including URA,BCA,LTA,PUB etc for the Project works.
• Manages design approval process in a timely manner to resolve all technical issues.
• Ensures strict compliance of the design in accordance with the contractual requirements.
• Ensures the distribution of all the approved and latest drawing sand other relevant documents to the relevant parties.
• Identifies and highlights to Management and project team of any potential risks or issues that will impact Project performance.
• Prepares and presents design progress status and slides to Management, project team and Client as and when required.
• Ensure optimize design solutions in compliant with construction standards, regulatory framework, contractual specifications and build ability requirements.
• Ensure the construction team clearly understand the content and requirements of the latest drawings and requirements.

Job Requirements:
