Job summary

ICON OUTSOURCING in Singapore is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive end-to-end project delivery within Banking/Fintech domains, overseeing architecture, design, and stakeholder management.

You will lead teams, mentor developers, and ensure production support (BAU/Ops), with hands-on Java, Spring Boot, and cloud deployments on AWS/Azure, plus middleware such as Apache, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere.

Qualifications

Experience in Stakeholder management, Technical Lead, and Project Management.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience with Jira, Kanban board, Agile, and Waterfall project management with team leadership.
Programming skills in Java (JDK 1.8+), Hibernate, Spring Boot, JSP, Bootstrap.
Hands-on with Oracle and MS SQL databases.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies.
Exposure to BAU/Ops and production environments.
Experience with middleware platforms like Apache, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Responsibilities

Team Lead and project management oversight.
Apply Agile, Waterfall, and Kanban methodologies.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, JSP, and Bootstrap.
Build and integrate backend services and APIs for performance and reliability.
Support BAU/Ops activities including monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Work with Oracle and MS SQL databases.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Integrate middleware components such as Apache, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere.
Document specifications, workflows, and operational procedures.
Participate in agile and continuous improvement initiatives.
