IDC TECHNOLOGIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Senior Java lead to drive design, architecture, and delivery of high-performance cloud-native applications in Singapore.

You will mentor developers, define coding standards, and align technical work with business goals. Responsibilities include guiding system design, overseeing reviews, and advancing DevOps practices while collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to deliver robust, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in professional software development with strong Java expertise.
• Deep proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Framework ecosystem.
• Hands-on Maven build tooling and test-driven development (JUnit/Mockito).
• Strong SQL, RDBMS design, and PostgreSQL optimization knowledge.
• Git/GitHub collaboration and Docker containerization experience.
• Linux administration and shell scripting skills; Python scripting for automation.
• Proven leadership, mentoring developers, and guiding technical teams.
• Excellent problem solving, analytics, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to work with clients and build trusted relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of scalable, high-performance Java applications.
• Provide guidance on system design, coding standards, and best practices.
• Mentor team members and foster continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to translate requirements into solutions.
• Oversee code reviews, enforcing quality, security, and performance standards.
• Champion DevOps and CI/CD, automating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and drive team innovation.
• Support Agile/Scrum delivery and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
