You will champion DevOps/CI-CD practices, influence system design and coding standards, and work with product stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical implementations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency with Maven, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL performance optimisation.
• Proficiency with Linux and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance applications using Java and modern cloud-native technologies.
• Drive technical decision-making and guide system design, coding standards, development practices, and engineering quality.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, clients, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to quality, security, maintainability, and performance standards.
• Champion DevOps and CI/CD practices, including the automation of build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root cause analysis and resolution efforts.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to improve engineering practices and drive innovation.
• Support Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, technical estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
