Job summary

QINGLING (S) PTE. LTD. is hiring a field service engineer to provide on-site support for commercial electric vehicles in Singapore. You will diagnose issues, coordinate with factory teams, and ensure smooth commissioning and handovers.

You will conduct inspections, deliver technical training to service centers and customers, and maintain precise documentation of service activities while upholding safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for commercial EVs and passenger vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Liaise with factory engineering on root cause analyses and solutions.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and propose corrective actions.
• Assist in commissioning, testing, and handover of new vehicles.
• Deliver technical training to service teams, dealers, customers.
• Monitor vehicle performance and provide product feedback.
• Document technical cases and service reports accurately.
• Support warranty claims assessment and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for commercial electric vehicles and passenger Vehicle.

• Support service centers and customers in resolving complex technical issues efficiently.

• Liaise with Factory engineering and technical teams on product issues, root cause analysis, and solutions.

• Conduct vehicle inspections, fault analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

• Assist in commissioning, testing, and handover of new vehicles.

• Deliver technical training and guidance to service teams, dealers, and customers.

• Monitor vehicle performance and provide feedback for product improvement.

• Ensureaccurate and timelydocumentation of technical cases, service reports, and maintenance records.

• Support warranty claims assessment and technical validation.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in automotive aftersales, field service, or technical support.

• Experience with commercial vehicles, EV systems, passenger vehicle or heavy vehicles.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and diagnostic skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel).

• Hands-on and independent for on-site support.
