Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support
- Provide on-site and off-site technical support to dealers/workshops
- Manage and resolve technical support tickets within defined SLAs
- Escalate unresolved cases to HQ/relevant technical teams
2. ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) Maintenance
- Maintain and update technical manuals
- Maintain and update Special Service Tools (SST) list and tool inventory requirements
3. APTC (Technical Campaign) Management
- Fan out technical campaign bulletins/instructions to dealer network
- Track and follow up on campaign closure status and compliance across all affected vehicles/dealers
4. Data Analysis & HQ Feedback
- Analyze field data,failure trends, and recurring technical issues
- Report findings to HQ and track feedback/resolution to closure
5. Technical Activities
- Plan and execute technical engagement programs: Tech Star, Safety Month, Quarterly Activities, Technical Camp
- Coordinate participation and logistics for these programs across dealer network
6. Training & Competency Development
- Develop training materials and curriculum for dealer technicians
- Conduct technical training sessions and competency assessments
- Track training completion and skill-gap closure
7. Warranty Claims
- Review, validate, and process warranty claims for technical accuracy
- Liaise with HQ on warranty policy and claim disputes
8. Technical Hotline (Internal Support)
- Serve as technical point of contact/hotline for internal departments (Customer Service, Sales) on product-related queries
9. HQ Support
- Support HQ-driven initiatives: benchmarking studies, competitor analysis, technical studies
10. Lubricants & Accessories
- Provide technical guidance on approved lubricants and accessories
- Support technical evaluation/testing of new lubricant/accessory offerings
11. Work Procedures Localisation
- Localize HQ work procedures/SOPs for market-specific requirements (language, regulatory, operational context)
Key Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 2–5 years' experience in automotive after-sales, technical support, or field service (automotive OEM/dealer environment preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and EV/hybrid systems
- Familiarity with warranty processes, technical bulletins/campaigns, and service documentation
- Experience conducting technical training or coaching dealer technicians is an advantage
- Willing and able to travel to dealer/distributor sites for on-site support
- Good communication skills — able to explain technical matters clearly to dealers, distributors, and internal non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working with data (failure trends, KPIs, HQ reporting) and common office/reporting tools
- Preferred with valid driving license
