Job summary

The successful candidate will be stationed at a client site for long periods, requires Mandarin basics, strong customer service, and teamwork to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC in Computing or similar required.
• Comfortable to be stationed at a client site for extended periods.
• Knowledge of Mandarin dialects is essential for interacting with the Chinese client.
• Good knowledge of software applications, preferably with networking proficiency.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset.
• Independent worker and ability to collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform desktop, printing and related support.
• Provide 1st/2nd level support and resolve technical issues with desktops and hardware.
• Troubleshoot endpoints including laptops, printers, and Outlook configurations.
• Manage Windows OS versions, Office applications, network connectivity and printer mapping.
• Install, repair and provide preventive maintenance on client copiers.
• On-site troubleshooting for copiers hardware and software solutions.
• Service Servers, Windows PCs, MacBooks and iPads as required.
• Distribute paper to copiers and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform desktop, printing and related support.
• 1st/2nd level support and resolution, including technical issues involving desktop clients and hardware issues.
• Provide technical service to end users, troubleshooting issues related to laptops and printers.
• Manage Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, MS Office Applications, network connectivity, printer mapping etc.
• Manage email messaging configurations and troubleshooting issues for Outlook.
• Provide installation, repair and preventive maintenance services on client's copiers.
• On site troubleshooting on hardware and software solutions related to copiers.
• Servicing of Servers, Windows PC, Macbook and Ipad.
• Distribution of paper to copiers as required.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma / NITEC Qualification in Computing or similar.
• Must be comfortable to be stationed in specific client's site for long period of time.
• Main service provider to Chinese client. Knowledge of basic Mandarin dialects is essential.
• Good knowledge in software applications, preferably with networking proficiency.
• Positive attitude and great customer service.
• Independent and good team player.
• Technical experience in the photocopier industry will be an added advantage.
