Job summary

Ekosys Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based construction firm, seeks an experienced Technical Director to lead its technical operations and spearhead the company’s entry into Japan. You will oversee construction-related activities, forge strategic partnerships, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will recruit and develop local teams, coordinate with the Singapore head office, and shape technical strategy for sustainable growth in Japan and internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/architectural discipline required.
• Significant construction industry experience with technical leadership.
• Experience in senior management or business development in construction.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Lead and establish Ekosys' technical and construction operations in Japan.
• Develop technical strategies, business plans, and procedures for market entry.
• Identify opportunities and build relationships with clients and partners in Japan.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and licensing in Japan.
• Lead cross-border collaboration with Singapore HQ.

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related engineering discipline
