The role focuses on analysing plant processes to boost efficiency and quality, with responsibilities including monitoring performance and supporting process safety initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in a process plant or chemical manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a process plant, chemical manufacturing, or industrial operations environment.
• Knowledge of process optimisation, safety management, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, evaluate, and improve plant processes to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Monitor process performance, interpret operational data, and support digital process monitoring systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend process improvements.
• Develop, implement, and optimise operating procedures and process documentation.
• Support plant operations, maintenance activities, and process troubleshooting.
• Participate in process safety initiatives, including risk studies and safety management activities.
• Coordinate process improvement projects, plant shutdown planning, and implementation of new operational procedures.
• Ensure projects are completed within established timelines and budgets.

Our esteemed client in the Environmental Services industry is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Chemical Process Engineer
• Location: Tuas (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm
• Salary Package: Up to $4,500 + Transport Allowance* + Bonus
