Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Scientist, Product (Tea) in Singapore to drive tea concepts from concept to execution. You will develop lab-scale recipes, conduct sensory and analytical tests, and ensure regulatory, stability, cost, and manufacturing requirements are met.

You will partner with Global Tea GDI and regional teams, leveraging consumer insights and digital tools to deliver robust, market-ready beverages and accelerate growth in the Tea portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Biology, or related fields.
• 5-8 years of experience in product development, preferably in beverages; tea experience is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of beverage formulation, ingredient functionality, and processing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with sensory evaluation, analytical testing, and shelf-life assessment.
• Ability to connect daily technical work to project and business goals and to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Create Tea Prototypes & Formulations from lab scale to pilot, guided by global/regional insights.
• Test, learn, and improve with sensory, analytical, and stability evaluations; communicate results.
• Scale up for market, supporting pilot and commercial trials with cost and packaging targets.
• Track competitor tea products and lead tasting sessions with documentation.
• Collaborate across Global and Regional teams to deliver high‑quality innovations.
