Job summary

Coca-Cola Singapore Beverages Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Scientist, Product (Tea) to lead tea innovation from concept to execution. You will apply formulation, testing, and commercialization skills with Global Tea GDI and regional stakeholders to meet taste, quality, regulatory and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Biology, or related fields.
• 5–8 years of experience in product development, preferably in beverages; tea experience is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of beverage formulation, ingredient functionality, and processing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with sensory evaluation, analytical testing, and shelf-life assessment.
• Ability to connect daily technical work to project and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Create Tea Prototypes & Formulations: develop lab-scale tea beverage recipes driven by insights.
• Test, Learn, Improve: conduct sensory, analytical, and shelf-life testing with teams.
• Scale Up for Market: support pilot and commercial trials, ensure cost targets and packaging compatibility.
• Category & Competitive Insights: track competitors and share learnings with the team.
• Collaborate Broadly: work with Global/Regional teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain Excellence: keep formula data accurate and maintain lab safety standards.
