Looking for more than a typical recruitment role? This hands‑on position combines Talent Acquisition with HR operations, including work‑pass administration, pre‑employment processes, HR systems, documentation and onboarding readiness.
You will recruit for restaurant‑management positions, internships and selected corporate roles, support restaurant hiring campaigns and new store openings, and may participate in overseas recruitment for restaurant roles. You will gain practical exposure across the full journey—from identifying the right candidate to preparing them to join the organisation successfully.
This role suits someone who enjoys interacting with people while also taking pride in accurate administration, compliance and follow‑through.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Delivery & Candidate Management — 40%
- Manage recruitment for an assigned portfolio, covering job advertising, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer coordination and pre-boarding.
- Build candidate pipelines through job portals, social platforms, referrals, databases, career events and direct outreach.
- Assess candidates’ experience, motivation, role fit, salary expectations, availability and work eligibility, and present clear recommendations to hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, and reference or background checks where required.
- Prepare salary recommendations for HRBP review and communicate the offer to the selected candidate.
- Deliver a professional candidate experience through clear, timely communication and respectful closure.
Talent Acquisition & HR Operations — 30%
- Prepare and issue offer letters, employment contracts and related documentation based on the final package approved by the HRBP Manager.
- Administer MOM work-pass applications, renewals and cancellations in accordance with prevailing requirements.
- Coordinate medical checks and follow through on all documents, approvals and pre-employment requirements before commencement and payroll cut-off.
- Maintain accurate candidate and new‑hire records in BIPO, recruitment trackers and personnel files.
- Coordinate with HR Shared Services, Payroll and HRBP teams to ensure new hires are ready for onboarding and payroll processing.
- Handle confidential information carefully and ensure compliance with company policies, fair hiring principles and Singapore employment requirements.
Internships, Partnerships & Recruitment Activities — 15%
- Coordinate internship hiring and administration, including onboarding, extensions and completion activities.
- Support recruitment activities with e2i, vendors, schools, ITEs, polytechnics and other talent partners.
- Coordinate and participate in career fairs, roadshows, campus activities and local or overseas recruitment campaigns where required.
- Support vendor administration, invoice and cost tracking, employer‑branding content and recruitment collateral.
- Support the Senior Talent Acquisition Executive in coordinating recruitment activities, following up on hiring decisions and keeping hiring managers updated on candidate progress.
- Provide recruitment coverage when the Senior Talent Acquisition Executive is unavailable, ensuring continuity of communication and outstanding actions.
- Work with HR colleagues, Operations leaders and external partners to ensure smooth recruitment, pre‑employment and onboarding handovers.
Recruitment Reporting & Team Support — 5%
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and compile weekly hiring, ageing, source and cost updates for team and management reporting.
- Support HR and Talent Acquisition projects and undertake other reasonable responsibilities as business needs evolve.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Around 1–3 years of relevant experience; strong fresh graduates with recruitment or HR internships may also be considered.
- Energetic, engaging and genuinely interested in recruitment, with the confidence to meet, assess and communicate with candidates and stakeholders.
- Comfortable balancing people‑facing work, detailed administration and multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, with accuracy and consistent follow‑through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Singapore hiring practices, MOM work-pass processes and HRMS is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication, sound judgement, high integrity and respect for confidentiality.
