Job summary

The Lentor Residence Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable Facilities Assistant to support the Operations Manager in managing the nursing home's facilities, maintenance requests and daily operations.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, coordinate installation and repair works, perform routine inspections, assist procurement, and liaise with vendors to ensure quality and compliance at the Macpherson site.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in a related field.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Work Location: Macpherson, walking distance from Tai Seng MRT

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in facilities operations and daily service requests.
• Troubleshoot faults related to mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Attend to breakdowns and feedback promptly.
• Handle installation, repair, rectification, and replacement work.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance tasks.
• Assist in procurement of supplies and parts.
• Manage inventory control of assets, equipment, and tools.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with vendors/contractors and supervise site work.
• Assist in visitor management and emergency preparedness duties.

Duties & responsibilities:

• To assist the Operations Manager in the facilities of the nursing home and daily service requests on facilities operations, management and maintenance for the group of companies
• Assist in troubleshooting faults related to mechanical and electrical equipment, infrastructure, engineering, building, etc.
• Attending to breakdowns and feedback
• Assist in handling installation, repair, rectification, and replacement work
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance work
• Assist in procurement of supplies and parts
• Work with Nursing Department on their procurement needs and stock supplies
• Assist in managing inventory control of company assets, equipment, instrument, and tools
• Assist in ensuring quality standards of all services and systems, comply with the statutory requirements
• Perform general housekeeping activities
• Liaise with vendors / contractors and supervise their work on site
• Assist in visitor management and emergency preparedness duties as and when needed
• Other relevant work as assigned by reporting officer or the management

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in a related field
