Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join on a 3-year contract based in Central Singapore. You will handle cost management, contract administration, and procurement support across consultancy and contractor projects.

Candidates should have 6+ years in Quantity Surveying, PSPC-recognised degree, and professional qualifications as a plus. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years hands-on Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in consultancy.
• PSPC-recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Professional qualifications SISV, AIQS or RICS are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, cost estimation, progress claims, VO and final accounts.
• Experience in contract administration and project documentation.
• Prior experience with a consultancy firm is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQ for projects.
• Assess and manage Variation Order works for subcontract packages.
• Measure, price, and evaluate contract VO claims.
• Process monthly progress claims and final accounts.
• Maintain project documentation and contract administration.
• Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors as needed.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a 3-year contract . This role is ideal for professionals with strong consultancy or contractor experience who are passionate about cost management, contract administration, and delivering successful construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess and manage Variation Order (VO) works for subcontract packages.
• Measure, price, and evaluate contract VO claims.
• Process monthly progress claims and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and maintain project documentation.
• Perform remeasurement for subcontractor payments and final account settlements.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgetary cost reports.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on project cost matters.
• Obtain supplier quotations and support procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organised project documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Quantity Surveyors where required.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on Quantity Surveying experience , preferably within a consultancy environment.
• PSPC-recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying .
• Professional qualifications such as SISV, AIQS, or RICS will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Experience in contract administration and project documentation.
• Prior experience with a consultancy firm is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Technical Skills
