DK OUTSOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor to handle pre- and post-contract duties, cost plans, tenders, and value reconciliations with contractors.
You will apply a solid foundation in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and local procurement practices, while communicating effectively with clients and project teams.
Pre-Contract Duties: Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation. Evaluate and analyze tenders, and assist with contractor selection.
Post-Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts, value completed works, and process interim progress claims.
Cost Control & Variations: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders and commercial claims. Monitor project cash flow and expenditure against budgets.
Final Accounts: Prepare, negotiate, and settle final accounts with contractors and stakeholders.
Contractual Advisory: Advise clients on legal clauses, discrepancies, and standard forms of contract such as the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) or Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC)
Qualifications: Recognized Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant QS experience, with prior background in a professional quantity surveying consultancy firm preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and local procurement practices. Familiarity with local standards is a strong advantage.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and industry tools like Bluebeam, Planswift, or Togal.
Soft Skills: Excellent numerical, analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients and contractors
