Job summary

Best NanoTech in Singapore seeks a seasoned test engineer to develop and sustain system-level and manufacturing-test solutions for complex SoCs, compute, automotive and memory products. The role covers test boards, automation, handlers, production integration and defect analytics.

You will work with SLT, board-level debugging and production test automation, analyze data, improve throughput, and support NPI transfers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 3-10+ years of relevant semiconductor test, product, validation, hardware, manufacturing-test or application-engineering experience, depending on level.
• Hands‑on semiconductor laboratory, ATE and/or production‑test experience appropriate to the role.
• Strong analytical, debugging and cross‑functional problem‑solving capability.
• English required.

Responsibilities

• Develop SLT and manufacturing-test strategies, fixtures, boards and test software.
• Integrate test solutions with handlers, thermal systems and factory automation.
• Develop embedded or host-side test software for production execution.
• Support board bring-up, firmware debug and system-level failure reproduction.
• Define test coverage, limits and screening strategy for production.
• Analyze production data, defect trends and escapes to improve test effectiveness.
• Correlate SLT results with ATE, bench and customer/system failures.
• Improve throughput, stability, uptime and cost of test.
• Support new product introduction and transfer to manufacturing sites.
• Create work instructions, diagnostics, reports and training material.

Role Overview

Develop and sustain system-level and manufacturing-test solutions that complement traditional ATE coverage for complex SoCs, compute, automotive and memory products. The role spans test boards, automation, handlers, production integration and defect/yield analytics.

Country-specific emphasis: Useful for server/compute, automotive and complex SoC production environments.
