Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Networking Technician for our West Singapore office (Toh Guan).

The role involves identifying and developing technologies to enhance product solutions and setting up network equipment across the organization. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of networking experience, including LAN/WAN, security, and deployment of Routers/Switches.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field is required.
• Strong working knowledge of computer communications and networking (LAN/WAN, security, hardware and software).
• Experience deploying network equipment (routers & switches) and stable server setups (NAS, SAN).
• Minimum 2 years in a networking-based role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and develop suitable technologies to enhance and complement existing product solutions.
• Evaluate, test, and set up network equipment.
• Work with Sales to ensure tender proposals comply with network specifications and review system designs.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers to configure system network components (IP cameras, SAN, servers, switches, routers, workstations, peripherals).
• Work with Service Engineers to identify and resolve network-related hardware and software issues.
• Manage office network administration, including setup, maintenance, and security of network infrastructure.
• Manage office system administration, including servers, storage, and software applications.
• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot IT issues.
• Support cybersecurity measures by protecting systems and networks, monitoring risks, and implementing controls.

• Salary Range: $3,400 - $3,900
• Working Days: 5 days, Monday - Friday
• Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Location: West (Toh Guan)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, test, and set up network equipment.
• Work with the Sales team to ensure tender proposals comply with required network specifications and review proposed system network designs and configurations.
• Work with Project Engineers in setting up and configuring system network components, including IP cameras, Storage Area Networks (SAN), servers, switches, routers, workstations, and other peripherals.
• Work with Service Engineers to identify and resolve network-related hardware and software issues.
• Manage office network administration, including the setup, maintenance, and security of network infrastructure.
• Manage office system administration, including servers, storage, and software applications.
• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot IT issues.
• Support cybersecurity measures by protecting computer systems and networks from cyber threats, monitoring security risks, and implementing security controls.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a networking-based role.
• Good working knowledge of computer communication and networking (LAN/WAN architecture, network security, network hardware and software).
• Good working knowledge in setting up, testing and deployment of network equipment (routers & switches)
• Good fundamentals in deploying stable server setups, including NAS, SAN, and other IT-based equipment.
