Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an IT Networking professional to identify, research and develop technology that enhances and complements our product solutions.

You will evaluate, test and set up network equipment, and work with Sales to ensure tender proposals meet network specifications. You will collaborate with Project Engineers to configure system networks (IP cameras, SANs, servers, switches, routers, workstations) and provide cybersecurity and admin support for the office

Qualifications

• Possess minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in networking-based role.
• Good working knowledge of computer communication and networking (LAN/WAN architecture, network security, network hardware and software).
• Good working knowledge in setting up, testing and deployment of network equipment (routers & switches).
• Good fundamentals in deploying stable setup of servers – NAS, SAN and other IT based equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research and develop suitable technology that will enhance and complement existing product solutions.
• Evaluate, test and set up network equipment.
• Work with Sales to ensure tender proposals comply with required specifications on network requirements; review proposed design & configuration of system’s network.
• Work with Project Engineers to set up and configure system’s network components including IP cameras, SANs, servers, switches and routers, workstations and peripherals.
• Collaborate with Service Engineers to identify and resolve network-related hardware/software problems.
• Network administration for the Office: Manage organization's computer networks, including setting up, maintaining, and securing network infrastructure.
• System administration for the Office: Manage and maintain IT systems, including servers, storage, and software applications.
• Technical support for the Office: Assist users with technical issues and troubleshooting problems.
• Cybersecurity for the Office: Protect computer systems and networks from cyber threats, including monitoring for security breaches and implementing security measures.
