Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a System Engineer (Network & Infrastructure) in Singapore to identify, research, and implement technologies that enhance existing product solutions.

You will evaluate, test, and deploy network equipment and collaborate with Sales, Project Engineers, and Service Engineers to ensure optimal network configurations. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of networking

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a networking-based role.
• Solid knowledge of computer communication and networking (LAN/WAN, security, hardware/software).
• Experience in deploying and testing network equipment (routers & switches).
• Experience with stable server setups including NAS/SAN and related IT equipment.

Responsibilities

System Engineer (Network & Infrastructure)

• Salary Range: $3,400 - $3,900
• Working Days: 5 days, Monday - Friday
• Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Location: Jurong East (Toh Guan)

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and develop suitable technologies to enhance and complement existing product solutions.
• Evaluate, test, and set up network equipment.
• Work with the Sales team to ensure tender proposals comply with required network specifications and review proposed system network designs and configurations.
• Work with Project Engineers in setting up and configuring system network components, including IP cameras, Storage Area Networks (SAN), servers, switches, routers, workstations, and other peripherals.
• Work with Service Engineers to identify and resolve network-related hardware and software issues.
• Manage office network administration, including the setup, maintenance, and security of network infrastructure.
• Manage office system administration, including servers, storage, and software applications.
• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot IT issues.
• Support cybersecurity measures by protecting computer systems and networks from cyber threats, monitoring security risks, and implementing security controls.

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a networking-based role.
• Good working knowledge of computer communication and networking (LAN/WAN architecture, network security, network hardware and software).
• Good working knowledge in setting up, testing and deployment of network equipment (routers & switches)
• Good fundamentals in deploying stable server setups, including NAS, SAN, and other IT-based equipment.
