EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a networking-focused professional in Singapore to identify and develop technology that complements existing product solutions.

The role involves setting up and testing network equipment, and coordinating with Sales and Project Engineers on configurations for IP cameras, SANs, servers, switches, routers, and workstations. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 1–2 years of networking experience, knowledge of

Qualifications

• Possess minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in networking-based role.
• Good working knowledge of computer communication and networking (LAN/WAN architecture, network security, network hardware and software).
• Good working knowledge in setting up, testing and deployment of network equipment (routers & switches).
• Good fundamentals in deploying stable setup of servers - NAS, SAN and other IT based equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research and develop technology to enhance product solutions.
• Evaluate, test and set up network equipment.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure tender proposals meet network specs.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers to configure network components (IP cameras, SANs, servers, switches, routers, workstations).
• Assist Service Engineers in identifying and resolving network hardware/software problems.
• Administer network for the office: setup, maintain, secure network infrastructure.
• Administer IT systems for the office: manage servers, storage and software applications.
• Provide technical support for office users.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect networks and monitor security breaches.

Job Responsibilities:

• To identify, research and develop suitable technology that will enhance and complement our existing range of product solutions.
• To evaluate, test and set up network equipment.
• To work with Sales in: Ensuring tender proposal complies with required specifications on network requirements. Reviewing proposed design and configuration of system's network.
• To work with Project Engineers in: Setting up and configuring of system's network components comprising of IP cameras, Storage Area Networks (SAN) and servers, Switches and routers, workstations and other peripherals.
• To provide work with Service Engineers in identifying and resolving network related hardware/software problems.
• Network administration for the Office: Managing organization's computer networks, including setting up, maintaining, and securing network infrastructure.
• System administration for the Office: Managing and maintaining IT systems, including servers, storage, and software applications.
• Technical support for the Office: Assisting users with technical issues and troubleshooting problems.
• Cybersecurity for the Office: Protecting computer systems and networks from cyber threats, including monitoring for security breaches and implementing security measures.

Job Requirements:
